UNDERSTAND THE BODY
RETHINK THE VOICE
The body continuously adapts to the demands of the voice
& the voice responds to changes in the body.
Changes in laryngeal mobility, jaw and tongue tension, breathing, neck function, persistent pain, previous or recurrent injuries, or individual postural and movement patterns may alter the conditions in which the voice is produced.
Through workshops and practical training, participants are introduced to clinical reasoning, assessment, manual therapy, breathing work, & exercise selection for professional voice users.
The aim is to deepen understanding of the physical systems that support voice & to create a more connected way of thinking across disciplines.
